I was commissioned to do this piece months ago, but got wrapped up with The Fallen Angel mini-series and then a project for Archaia. But finally here it is!I set up a camera on a tripod to take a shot every 20 minutes. I also took shots from my phone to post on twitter as I went.
There is only one shot of pencilling that I could use because apparently, I can't draw unless my noes is touching the paper. In other words, my big fat head was blocking the shot in almost every photo. But that's o.k, there is little to be learned from watching some one pencil. the only way to learn to draw is from a lifetime of discipline, practice and observation. Painting however has tricks and as long as you know how to draw, you can master these tricks fairly easily. So with that in mind, I decided to share the process.
